.........BHUBANESWAR: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has announced re-scheduling and cancellation of eight trains due to ongoing modernisation work.
The ECoR will install a 'Limited Height Subway' between Vizianagram and Nellimarla which falls under Waltair Division of the zone.
Due to the ongoing construction work, Palasa-Visakhapatnam passenger will be cancelled on Thursday.
On Wednesday, the Howrah Yeshvantpur Express will leave Howrah at 11:50 pm instead of 8:35 pm.
Similarly, Howrah-Chennai Mail scheduled to depart from Howrah at 11:45 pm on Wednesday has been rescheduled to 12:45 am on Thursday.
Pondicherry-Howrah Weekly Express, which leaves Pondicherry at 12:30 pm, will depart at 3:30 pm on Thursday.
Prasanti Express will leave from Bhubaneswar at 7:15 am instead of 5:30 am on Thursday. On Wednesday, Bhagalpur-Yeshvantpur Express scheduled to leave Bhagalpur at 1:30 pm will depart at 2:30 pm.
The Shalimar-Nagarcoil weekly Express scheduled to depart from Shalimar at 11:05 pm on Wednesday has been rescheduled to 12:05 am on Thursday.
Chennai Central-Santragachi weekly Special Express which departs from Chennai at 3:15 pm has been rescheduled to 7:15 pm on Wednesday.
The Vishakha Express scheduled to leave Secunderabad at 4:50 pm will depart at 8:30 pm on Wednesday, ECoR sources said.
